6:00 AM – Departure from Delhi (Shatabdi/Gatimaan Express)
Your journey begins early with a pick-up from your hotel in Delhi. You’ll be escorted to New Delhi Railway Station to board the Shatabdi Express or Gatimaan Express, two of the fastest and most comfortable trains traveling to Agra. Both trains offer air-conditioned coaches, refreshments, and a smooth ride. The journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours.

8:00 AM – Arrival in Agra
Upon arrival at Agra Cantt Railway Station, a private car and guide will be waiting to greet you. You’ll be whisked away to your first destination, the Taj Mahal.

8:30 AM – Visit the Taj Mahal
Visit the Taj Mahal, the world-renowned symbol of love. Your guide will take you through the monument’s history, sharing fascinating details about its Mughal architecture, the intricate marble inlay work, and the emotional story behind its construction. You’ll have time to explore the Taj Mahal’s beautiful gardens, reflecting pools, and mausoleum.

10:30 AM – Visit to Agra Fort
After exploring the Taj Mahal, head to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This red sandstone fort was once the seat of the Mughal emperors. The guide will walk you through its grand palaces, courtyards,and mosques, explaining its historical significance and the fascinating blend of Persian, Timurid, and Indian architectural styles.

12:30 PM: Lunch
Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. Many establishments in Agra offer views of the Taj Mahal, making for a memorable dining experience while savoring authentic Mughlai and North Indian dishes.

1:30 PM – Optional Visit to Mehtab Bagh or Local Markets If time allows, visit Mehtab Bagh, a beautiful garden across the Yamuna River offering a stunning view of the Taj Mahal. Alternatively, you can explore Agra’s vibrant local markets, known for handicrafts, marble souvenirs, and traditional textiles.

3:00 PM – Return to Agra Cantt Railway Station
After your sightseeing, you’ll return to the railway station with your guide for your return journey to Delhi.

5:00 PM – Departure from Agra (Shatabdi/Gatimaan Express)
Board the Shatabdi or Gatimaan Express train for your return journey to Delhi. Refreshments will be served on board.

7:00 PM – Arrival in Delhi
Your train will reach New Delhi Railway Station, where you’ll be transferred back to your hotel, concluding your Same Day Taj Mahal Tour.
